Central Florida Trophy Hunts has over 20 years’ experience hunting alligators.
Our goal is to provide our clients with the best hunt available at an affordable price. We hunt areas located in Central Florida and we constantly scout these areas. We feel this gives us a great advantage over other hunters and guides. This coupled with our close working relationship with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Alligator Management Program, allows us to put you on the biggest Gators possible.

Our trophy hunts are a very unique and exciting experience. Our Hunts are conducted on some of the best private properties in Central Florida. Alligators of all sizes may be taken year round. These hunts are limited and therefore are first come first serve. Our trophy hunts are priced on size (see below) and a non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking.

Public Waters Hunts
August 15 - November 8
All Alligator Hunts include experienced one on one guide, all equipment necessary, transportation on property, and transportation of alligator to our processing facility.
We offer 2 types of Public Waters Alligator hunts

LIMITED AVAILABILITY
We secure several of the Public Waters permits each year in the State of Florida. This hunt allows you to harvest 1 alligator 6 foot or larger. During our 2023 hunts we had a 10 ft average and continued our 100% success rate harvesting over 180 alligators in 12 weeks. As with all of our alligator hunts this hunt is a no-shot no-pay hunt. These are night hunts only and therefore are conducted out of an airboat or bay boat using a harpoon or crossbow.
These hunts are very limited, and therefore, they are on a first come, first serve basis.
The cost of this hunt is $1500 and requires a $250 non-refundable deposit.
A trophy fee of $300.00 per ft. ($25 per inch) will apply to any alligator harvested 9 ft or greater in length (9 ft – $300; 10 ft – $600; 11 ft – $900…etc). These hunts are usually completed in one night; however, occasionally they will take two.
Charter Hunts
We Guide You to Fill Your Tags
We offer a guided hunt in which we take those selected for the public waters hunt and guide them to successfully fill both of their tags. We provide all of the necessary equipment to fill your tags.
Our fees begin at $1000.00 per night and require a $250 non refundable deposit.
You can normally expect to fill your tags on the first night. However, if you are looking to take two extremely large Gators, one night may not be sufficient; your hunt may take longer.

Not included in the price of your hunt a $35.00 per ft processing fee.
$100.00 additional fee for trophy skins.
All gators are processed at our licensed and inspected processing plant. You can expect your hide to be scraped, salted, and rolled for transport. Your meat will be defatted, cut, cubed, and vacuum-sealed in 2.5-lb bags for $2.75 per pound. Shipping, handling, and coolers are not included in the price of your hunt.
